What we do
Partners for Peace is a Christian therapy practice serving individuals, couples and families across Georgia. It exists to bring faith and mental health together as one whole approach to healing, not two separate paths. Its mission is to equip individuals, families and congregations with accessible, faith-centered counseling and mental health resources, combining evidence-based clinical practice with Scripture-rooted care.
Services offered
Individual, couples and family counseling, organized into five areas:
- Anxiety, Stress & Overthinking — Generalized anxiety and worry, panic attacks, overthinking and rumination, perfectionism, social anxiety, everyday stress. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with practical Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills.
- Trauma, Grief & Healing Through Faith — Grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, faith crisis after loss, childhood or complex trauma, traumatic loss, difficult diagnoses. Trauma-informed CBT, with Family Systems Therapy when a household is affected.
- Depression, Burnout & Renewed Hope — Depression, burnout and exhaustion, loss of motivation or purpose, persistent sadness, high-achiever burnout, compassion fatigue. CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
- Marriage, Family & Relationship Counseling — Marital conflict, pre-marriage counseling, communication and trust, parenting and family dynamics, blended family challenges, reconnecting after conflict. Family Systems Therapy and CBT.
- Life Transitions, Purpose & Identity in Christ — Career change, divorce or separation, empty nest, new parenthood, identity and purpose, faith questions during change. Motivational Interviewing and CBT.
What we help with
Anxiety and stress, trauma and grief, depression and burnout, marriage and family relationships, and life transitions — each area above lists the specific concerns its page covers.
Our approach
Therapists use evidence-based methods — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Family Systems Therapy — integrated with Scripture-rooted support. Faith is part of how the practice works, but every session starts with the client’s clinical needs and goals, and faith comes in as much as feels right to the client.
Every therapist completes the practice’s Christ-Centered Counseling Certification (also called its Faith Integration Certification), an internal training program covering clinical guidelines and Scripture-integrated practice across more than 35 topics, so the standard of care does not depend on which therapist a client sees.
Who we serve
Individuals, couples and families in Georgia who want clinical therapy that takes their Christian faith seriously, including pastors, church leaders, adolescents and children. The practice was founded to serve the local church, and churches across Georgia partner with it to offer counseling to their members.
Partners for Peace is not an emergency service. Anyone in crisis should call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Church partnerships
Partners for Peace equips churches across Georgia with licensed, faith-centered counseling for their members, available under the church’s own name. It supports a church’s pastoral team rather than replacing it: staff keep their focus on spiritual care and ministry, and the congregation gets licensed clinical support for what falls outside that scope.
- Subscription tiers, by sessions a month: Tier 1, 12 (roughly 3 people in ongoing care); Tier 2, 24 (roughly 6); Tier 3, 40 (roughly 10); Tier 4, 60 (roughly 15). A custom quote covers more than the largest tier, and white-labeling is available for all tiers.
- Because a subscription serves the whole community, the per-session cost is lower than the individual rate.
- How it works: a discovery call, with no commitment; choosing a tier; then, when a member is ready, the church submits a simple intake form and the practice reaches out to schedule the first appointment.
- Members refer themselves through the church’s intake form. Clinical details stay between the client and their therapist; church leadership sees participation at a program level, not case by case.
- Members have access to the whole therapist team and are matched to the therapist whose specialty fits their need.
- Churches use it for everything from pre-marriage counseling to grief support to everyday stress, not only crisis care.
- Mountain West Hope Center is one of the partner churches, offering subscription counseling to its members and staff.

What makes us different
- Clinical therapy and Christian faith together, not faith layered on top.
- Clients are matched to a therapist by specialty and availability, not assigned to whoever is next.
- One shared certification, so every client gets the same standard of care.
- Private pay, so care has no insurance session caps and needs no diagnosis code.
